Okay, so the last line isn't exactly what I said. ;) Clarissa and I made some delicious-smelling baked apples and some messy-but-fun-to-make potato and leek soup for the Scarlet Pimpernel book club Christmas party. All the food turned out well; nothing burned!!! :)
